Pura Meru, Cakranegara, Lombok
The Pura Meru temple was built in 1720 by the Balinese and is the largest temple on Lombok. The temple is a good example of traditional Balinese architecture and is important for the Balinese living on Lombok. Coming from Malaysia where many Muslims will not enter a church or temple, I took this photograph to show the religious tolerance that prevails in their neighbouring country.
