Cliffs of Moher – Ireland

We left County Kerry and drove into County Clare. From Ballyseede Castle Hotel we drove to Tabert, took the ferry to Kilrush and drove up the coast to the Cliffs of Moher. Unfortunately the puffins have not arrived for nesting as the weather has been too cold. The Cliffs rise 240 metres at the highest point and range for eight kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean. From the Cliffs we drove inland to Kilfenora and through The Burren to Galway. Photo taken 27th April 2012.
