Every morning I went to this site in Yosemite to capture this image but the weather was never quite right. As we left the Park on our last day to drive to Death Valley the conditions were nearly ideal. I had to set my tripod over the rails of the bridge and even with my lens set at 14mm I could just squeeze in El Capitan and its reflection into the picture. Yosemite was a wonderful experience for us and the four days we spent there were certainly not enough to fully appreciate this wonder of Mother Nature.
Photograph taken with Nikon D700 & 14-24mm f2.8 lens at 14mm on 3rd October 2010.
