Whilst we were visiting Split and the surrounding areas we made our base in Trogir. We were advised by some Croatians and the at the Tourist Information Centre that Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was a better place to stay than Split. We were glad that we followed their advice as Trogir is a charming town oozing with character and has restaurants and cafés along the waterfront – a wonderful place to relax and reminisce after a day of sightseeing. This photograph was taken from one of the waterfront cafés.
