Lock near Mandrogi

Today was our first day it rained and we felt the chill of Russia. After visiting the island of Kizhi, UNESCO World heritage site, yesterday, we sailed across the Onega Lake and passed through three locks this morning between 7:00am and 9:30am and entered the Lagoda Sea, home to Baltic salmon and sturgeon.

Photograph taken with Nikon 1 V2 & 6.7-13mm at 6.7mm on 11th June 2013.
